After losing 0-2 to Bangladesh at home and losing the first test of this series to England, PCB made some major changes. The selection committee and the squad were changed mid-series, which turned out to be beneficial, as they went on to win the remaining two test matches and win the series at home after 3 long years. First Test Match The first match was played in Multan, where Pakistan batted first and scored a huge total of 556 runs on a wicket that didn't do much for the bowlers.
